BEYOND 2000: CONTEMPORARY SERBIAN ANIMATION
Datum: Sat, September 10th
Mesto: Grand Hall
Vreme: 10:30 pm
Following the model of other cinematographies in Europe and worldwide, this DVD collection is a way to present to the world public in one place the Serbian authors born during 1970s and 1980s, whose films have had a defining impact on the national production in the period between 2005-2015. This is neither an anthology nor is it a retrospective. What we have here is not a wave, direction, school or movement. Nor is it an attempt at mapping the artistic guerrilla. They are simply authors of rich talent and skills. By integrating their excellence into its own image as a festival which supports generation and flow of ideas, open to new artistic forms, approaches and ideas in the art of animation, Animanima in its own way accentuates its own role and contribution in the development and advancement of the contemporary Serbian art and culture scene.
