RULES
01
International Festival of Animation ANIMANIMA is organised by the
Cultural Centre in Čačak, under the auspices of the The City of
Čačak an Ministry of Culture of Republic of Serbia.

The Festival is open for the applications of the authors from all
over the world. All works created frame by frame in any available
techniques are acceptable. If film presents combination of animation
and live action, animated parts are to correspond to at least 50% of
the total length of the film.

All entered films must be completed after January 1st, 2009.
Deadline for entries and films: 20th of August, 2010.

Competition - Categories:
1) films attended for the general public with the running time up to
30 minutes
2) animated commercials and music videos.

Festival Awards:
▪
Grand Prix -
“Golden
peg bar” (diploma, award in money)
▪
“C&M Special” for the best animated commercial or music video
(diploma, award in money)
▪
Best art directing (diploma, award in money)
▪
Best animation (diploma, award in money)
▪
Audience Award (diploma, presentation at ANIMANIMA 2011)
There are also Festival Jury's special distinctions for the best
script, music&sound and artistic achievement.

Selection screening format: DVD (PAL) – Region Free
Competition Screening: DVD (PAL) – Region Free
Supply high quality DVD copies.

No limit in the number of films submitted per entrant. If
author/producer/distributer submittes more than one film, each DVD
must contain only one work. Separate entry from is required for each
work aswell.

Entry forms are to be sent along on with:

Two or more stills from the film
▪
Photo portrait of the author
All photos must be in JPG format, resolution of 300 dpi, dimensions
10x15 cm (4x6 inches).

Films with non-English dialogues or/and narration must be sent with
ENGLISH TITLE. Films with English dialogues or/and narration should
be sent with a text file containing dialogue list and timecode
informations.

All entries must be sent at applicants own expence unless indicated
otherwise. Collect-on-delivery willnot be accepted. If customs value
needs to be declared, the amount must not exceed 5.00 EUR.

Some of the films not selected for the Competition could be included
in special non-competitive programmes according to the opinions of
Selection Comitee members and Festival artistic director.

All copies sent to Festival’s Office remain in the Festival's
archive and are to be used exclusively foreducational purposes and
non-commercial screenings in the aim of promotion of the Festival.

Festival Office will inform authors about Selection Comitee
decisions not later than
20th of September, 2010.
