The workshop is primarily intended for the participants’ first encounter with animation. Through the introduction of optical toys (thaumatrope, zoetrope, flipbook) and practical exercises in different animation techniques, with an unexpected surprise, we will enjoy sweet animation tricks. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to create their first short animated sequences in which they will bring objects from the environment to life, move their drawings or make people and objects acquire magical properties. The goal is for the participants of the workshop to be able to independently create a simple animated video at home or in school. The workshop is intended for children, but also for adults, future mentors and lecturers who will continue to introduce the techniques and process of making an animated film in kindergartens, schools and wherever there is interest.
